BAPHON is the local chapter of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) serving pediatric hematology and oncology nurses (and allied health partners) from the Northern California area. Our members are dedicated to promoting optimal nursing care for children and adolescents with cancer and their families.

The 2026 annual symposium was a huge success with the largest turn out for a BAPHON event in YEARS! Per the attendees the AYA Survivor Panel and Survivorship segments were the highlights of the event. Other huge hits were the addition of community sponsors and of course the surprise appearance of our dino mascot on stage.
The BAPHON board is excited to announce that we are going even BIGGER for 2027 with our first ever two day conference where we can all Reflect, Recharge, & Reignite at the Flamingo Resort & Spa in Santa Rosa! We are currently hard at work to make this big conference one to remember. Be sure to save the dates for Friday April 30th, 2027 & Saturday May 1st, 2027. More details to come!

We collectively completed 1,408 miles and fundraised $2,263! Sending out a huge thank you to everyone who joined the cause and to help spread awareness for our special population.
